Bitcoin falls below $76,000 as ETF outflows reach $530 million in a day
Bitcoin dropped to a seven-week low as US bitcoin and ether funds lost about $530 million in one day. Weaker tech shares and large crypto liquidations added to the pressure on investors.

Bitcoin fell below $76,000 on Thursday. US spot bitcoin and ether exchange traded funds (ETFs), which hold the coins and trade like shares, posted about $530 million in combined net outflows. That reversed the positive flows of the previous session.
Spot bitcoin funds accounted for roughly $430 million of the withdrawals. Ether funds lost about $100 million, based on SoSoValue data. Six funds recorded withdrawals on November 5, so this week's recovery in demand was short-lived.
In numbers
On Friday, November 6, bitcoin ETFs lost another $411.9 million, with BlackRock's fund driving the selling. Ether ETFs also saw a further outflow of $99.9 million. Bitcoin ETF outflows for the week were the highest since June.
